Obudu Association of North America, referred to as OANA is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization founded in 2014.
Our mission is to identify the applicable tools, plans and tactics needed to start producing progressive results in an acceptable time frame to maintain or achieving the desirable goals set forth by the association. We are dedicated to improving the quality of life for our members and families in North America and Nigeria by promoting self sufficiency and the preservation of our cultural heritage
OANA was founded to help improve the quality of life for all Obudu families in North America and to help identify resources that will help meet the needs of our families around the world. We are sons, daughters and families who are indigenes of Obudu, Nigeria and reside in North America and within Nigeria.
We believe that people with informed and liberated minds have unlimited potentials to be the best in their communities. We believe that a cohesive good community is a building block for a sound, health, strong and productive society.
The members of the association aspire to work in collaboration with one another in some specific areas such as peer networking, project identification and execution, and mentoring as needed to alleviate obvious obstacles that hinder some of our community members from excelling on their own in this challenging world.
